Welcome to CKB 1200 ....The Himalayan Sojourn . Started in 2018, CKB is a 1200 km LRM ride Starting from the Capital City of India...New Delhi and going all the way up into the Mighty Himalayas to The abode of His Excellency Dalai Lama to the city of McLeodganj via Ambala Chintpoorni Kangra Dharamshala Palampur and back the same way. The total elevation climb is over 10,000 Mts to be finished under 90 Hours of Given time.
What makes ride special is the change of terrain from carromboard flat tarmacs of Urban North India gradually turning to verdant green forests of Himachal tossed with steady climbs and Rolls to the picturesque beauty of Kangra and poignant tea gardens of Palampur and mighty Dhauladhar snow peaked Himalayan ranges standing like a wall on one side for an entire 100 Kms.
This ride is a true test of your endurance and climbing and Technical skills.
